Rozetak, Curaçao

Plantage

Rozetak was a plantation on Curaçao. Arnold Padbrugge bought it in 1758. Through his widow Maria Webb Kock it passed to her second husband, Cornelis Star Lichtenvoort. In 1766 they sold the plantation. Some of the enslaved people, including Francisco, Thicco and Jacob, passed with the plantation to the new owner. Others, including Louis Alons, were taken to Groningen by Star Lichtenvoort and Webb Kock.
